The Ritz-Carlton Club, Vail is two hours from Denver, two hours from Aspen and 35 minutes from the Eagle County Airport, where rental cars are available as well as Colorado Mountain Express shuttles and private car service.

In addition to the following Member Amenities, your Concierge will gladly provide information for any requests or inquiries you may have.

Ski Valet

Ski Valet will prepare your skis, boots and accessories for your arrival. Speak to Ski Valet or the Concierge to make arrangements to have your skis tuned and waxed so they can be ready by the next day of skiing for an additional fee.

Vail Sports also provides on-site technical expertise to answer any equipment or condition questions you may have and assist with rental setup.

Biking-Road and Mountain

Road biking is a favorite pastime of our locals. Vail offers many smooth bike paths for easy riding with wide shoulders and breathtaking scenery. Interesting in a bumpier ride? Hop on the gondola and navigate down the mountain on dirt trails ranging in levels of difficulty.

Fly Fishing

Calm your soul on the flowing river by experiencing a fly fishing tour. Put the waders on, grab a pole, and let a professional guide teach you casting skills, entomology, and how to read the river.

Golf

There are a number of world class golf courses available throughout the hills of the Vail Valley. Offering stunning scenery and courses suitable for all abilities, there is certainly something for everyone to enjoy! Challenge your-self on Red Sky's Champion Golf Course, or tune up your short game at Eagle-Vail's fun, family friendly course.

Hiking

White Water Rafting

Dogsledding has grown exponentially in the past few years as one of the most popular outdoor winter activities and will be sure to be a highlight of any vacation.

Skiing & Snowboarding

Grab first chair and make your way over to the legendary Back Bowls. Knee-deep powder and plenty of fresh tracks will keep you giddy all day! Snowshoeing

Be sure to bring your winter boots so you can strap on a pair of snowshoes for a hike in the snow! The Vail Nordic Center offers snowshoe rentals and trails to enjoy the backcountry scenery.

Snowmobiling

Reach elevations of over 12,000 feet the easy way: Hop on a fully automatic, easy to operate snowmobile for a day of winter thrills! Local outfitters lead excursions through a variety of locations, including historic Camp Hale, a U.S. Army training facility for the snow soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division, and stunning areas of the White River National Forest.

The 2016 GoPro Mountain Games may have been one of the most sensational, active, exciting and entertaining summer weekends Vail has ever known. More than 3,300 athletes signed up and took part. More than 67,000 people (and a whole lot of dogs) watched the action and strolled through the streets. The rivers were running high, the sun was shining, and 'pros and joes' competed side by side in more than 30 separate events.
